Enjoy Unlimited Kindle to read more in Portuguese.

Danielle Medeiros

Kindle Unlimited is free for two months so I tapped to read some books and also explore some and make lists of those who would like to add to the collection of the Library Project Brazil. I am somewhat surprised by the amount of books in Portuguese for both children and adults.

For me there is no substitute for holding a book in hand. As my son says: "It's not the same thing to lie down with an iPad, it doesn't have that smell of a book." Although I prefer printed books, I have learned to enjoy digital books too, especially when I travel so I don't need to carry a bag of books with me and in the current situation it has been an excellent alternative.

This past week I selected some books that can be downloaded using Kindle Unlimited. You can download 10 books at a time, and when you return one book you can download another. Just use your Amazon account and seek Kindle Unlimited and choose free subscription for 2 months. Okay, now just download the books.

The list below is divided more or less by age group. When I say that books are for 3-8 years old, they are books that can be read by an adult for children aged 3-6 years and that children who are already reading in Portuguese can read by themselves. If the book is bilingual it will have BI after the title, these books are great for children who understand less than 50% because they help a lot in the acquisition of vocabulary.
